A worker cups a handfull of ripe coffee cherries on Finca La Estrella, near Jinotega, on February 02, 2007. Coffee cherries are ready to be picked when they have reached their red color. The small producer of fair trade coffee, Flor Montenegro, has qualified for the Nicaraguan Cup of Excellence 3 times since 2002. This farm is a member of the fair trade cooperative SOPPEXCCA.
